Chiller performance in plastic production machine
Chillers operate based on a compression mechanism and cool the mold/machine oil by cooling the water (in the chiller tank) up to 50 C and pumping it to the machine cooling circuit and molds. After absorbing the heat, the water returns to the tank in a nonstop closed cycle to have its temperature reduced. As shown in the figure, the highest production time is spent on cooling; therefore, if use is made of compression chillers, it would be possible to both increase the production circulation as well as improve the quality of the parts.

Proper discharge/temperature of the coolant
Discharge and speed of materials injected into the machine
Type of the material being injected (HD/ABD/LD polyethylene, nylon, polystyrene, PVC …)
Production plan-based number of parts/volume of consumables for each machine
Medical machinery (MRI, CT scan, PET, X-ray, blood analyzer, linear accelerator …) produce much heat; hence, the magnet inside the scanner needs to be kept cool enough so that they can work at their highest efficiency. Compression chillers are used to control the temperature and prevent overheating.
In the food/beverage industry, industrial chillers are used to keep the temperature of food stuffs and dairy products at certain temperatures, and in producing bread, biscuits and so on they are used to cool the mixer and sponge and keep the liquid yeast at a specific temperature. In the production process of most drugs too (antibiotics, complex cardiovascular drugs, etc.) cold water is a necessity; chillers enable a precise controlling over the water temperature.
In research centers, to cool samples in closed/open cycles, use is usually made of positive- and negative-temperature laboratory chillers; in the latter, ethylene liquid provides cooling of up to -500 C.

In a laser device, chiller is a major accessory to cool the tube and improve its lifespan because the radiation formed inside it is very hot and needs to be cooled in some way; if not, it will become very hot and lose its power quickly
